Details of access

Transport service will be provided for initial access from the following airports or train-stations to the dropzone or hotels. Please note and register for the transport-service in advance on the attachment to the official entry form!

Costs will be 30,- € (per person and ONE way) only in larger groups (up to 30 persons). Depending on arrival times it is possible, that several delegations will be grouped together; this may cause some waiting time at the airport.

Airports

• Luxemburg International Airport (LUX) — 80 km or 1h by car — preferred airport for arrivals as it is easier for transfer.
• Saarbrücken (SCN) — 45 km or 40 min by car
• Frankfurt International Airport (FRA) — 200 km or 2h by car
• Ramstein (US-Airbase) — for members of armed forces!

Train stations

• Saarlouis — 10 km or 15 min from DZ  and 3 hrs from Frankfurt Airport Station (train ticket € 35 – 50 one way)

• Saarbrücken — 30 km or 30 min — ICE and TGV-Station: travel time from Frankfurt 2 h; from Paris as well 2h!)
